Access to Green Finance

This session equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to successfully prepare for funding opportunities under the GreenScale Zambia Incubator & Accelerator Programme. Participants will be guided through the GREENTech4CE application portal, gaining hands-on experience in initiating a concept note application while developing a clear understanding of the programme’s funding windows, matching grant mechanism, and eligible expenditure.

The session will also introduce participants to the fundamentals of investment readiness, enabling them to assess their businesses against key investment criteria and identify areas requiring improvement. Beyond the programme, participants will explore Zambia’s broader green finance landscape, identifying alternative financing opportunities available to circular economy enterprises.

By the end of the lesson, participants will be able to confidently position their businesses for funding by developing a concise and compelling green investment pitch that clearly demonstrates the value, impact, and scalability of their circular business model.
